Meet Our ProsthodontistsDr. Fransiskus Andrianto![]() Dr. Andrianto holds a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Airlangga University, Indonesia and the University of Detroit Mercy. In 2013, he received a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science from Columbia University. During his 3-year training program, he specialized in fixed and removable prosthodontics, dental implants, and full mouth rehabilitations. He then completed a 2-year Implant Periodontal Prosthodontics Fellowship at the University of Maryland, during which he received extensive training in dental implant surgery. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Andrianto served on the faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy while also maintaining his research on dental materials, fixed and implant prosthodontics. He co-authored a chapter on Ceramic Veneers and Partial Coverage Restorations in the textbook, Esthetics in Dentistry and became a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. While on the faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy, Dr. Andrianto also maintained a private practice in the Detroit metropolitan area. He later transitioned his practice to the Chicago metropolitan area with a focus on full-mouth implant rehabilitation including the “All-on-4” concept. During this time, he collaborated with oral surgeons, periodontists, and dental implant laboratory technicians. He is excited to join Fusion Dental Specialists and have the opportunity to work with a team of highly trained specialists in one location; he strongly believes that this allows for more efficient collaboration, making treatment convenient for the patient thus resulting in predictable outcomes. Dr. Andrianto enjoys travelling and photography, and is an avid foodie, Broadway musical and concert goer. He is excited to explore the outdoor activities in the Pacific Northwest and different Portland neighborhoods. Dr. Despoina Bompolaki![]() Dr. Bompolaki holds a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. In 2011, she received a Certificate in Prosthodontics and completed a Master’s in Oral Biology from Texas A&M University (Baylor College of Dentistry). During this 3-year training program, she received extensive experience with dental implants, porcelain veneers, and full mouth reconstructions. After graduating from Prosthodontics residency, she became an Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry. In 2015, she joined at Oregon Health & Science University, where she is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. She is responsible for teaching Prosthodontics to the next generation of dentists, supervising them during their clinical training, and giving lectures to the Periodontology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and General Practice postgraduate residents. Dr. Bompolaki’s clinical research in Fixed and Implant Prosthodontics has been funded by the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics as well as the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Foundation and her published work has been recognized nationally and internationally. She is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration and serves on several committees at a national level, within these two organizations. Dr. Bompolaki has maintained an active clinical practice throughout her academic career. She is excited to join a multi-specialty practice at Fusion Dental Specialists, where patients have a truly unique opportunity to be treated by a team of multiple highly-trained specialists in one location. When not treating patients or thinking about their teeth, Dr. Bompolaki enjoys everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer; she has always been into camping and indie movies, and after moving in Portland she discovered she is also an avid bike commuter, an adventurous hiker, and an unapologetic foodie.
